About

Hello! I am an illustrator from Rome.
I draw relentlessly. My favourite technique is watercolours with coloured pencils for their vibrancy, and I’m in love with soft pastels and charcoal for their expressiveness and immediacy. But I also work with ink, collage, marzipan, Murano glass… any medium that allows me to create!

I’m especially confident with sketches, where my lines bring a lot of energy. I easily capture the subtle nuances of relatable emotions and express movement and interactions well. Personifying animals is my forte.

I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where I graduated in Painting and Mosaics. Afterwards, I won a specialisation scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
I gradually moved from painting toward illustration.
I attended courses on picture book illustration, by Claire Alexander and the Quentin Blake Centre and with Helen Stephens and The Good Ship Illustration.
